This is a studio for Walter to write novels in. It is 16×14 and built on peers to lesson the damage to trees and it is sided with cypress. It has a door way that is built on a 45 degree angle in the corner with an awesome wrap around cedar porch. The interior ceiling is 6″ v-groove cedar with 4×6 cedar beams. Absolutely beautiful! The man has good taste and it gets even better! The floors are 5 1/2″ reclaimed heart pine, the two round windows have stained glass designs and the cabinet work is all custom made.

I took this video because I had no idea what was involved in setting the stones. I just kind of figured you stacked them up and called it a day. Boy was I wrong!

The need arose for an unobstructed view of the sky. One option was to cut the tree that shaded the studio on those blistering hot august days. A better option was an 8×16 all cedar deck across the top of the shop. The last picture is of a small cedar deck off the back of the studio.

SNOW CAMP FLOORS

Parts of the floors in this historic Snow Camp cabin were rotted to the dirt. Some of the beams supporting the walls needed replacing and we rebuilt the joist systems using PT lumber.

Bills Basement

These are some pics of a basement project we did. We did a whole lot more work than these pics protray. For starters we removed rough cut pine from the ceiling and had it milled into v-groove planks. We built “window seats” and installed a Braillian cherry winding staircase up to the house.
